Earlier in the day, they were married in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Johns Island by Abbot Placid Solari. The Abbot is the chancellor of Belmont Abbey College and has been a monk since 1974. I know that it was a special honor to have him there.
In the evening, guests arrived at Cassique for a scenic and stunning reception. The decor was done by the cousin of the bride, Adrian Sims Truluck, of Parker Sims Interiors. She did an amazing job with the draping. Tiger Lily created the colorful bouquets and flower and succulent centerpieces.
After a delicious sit down dinner, guests danced to Hot Sauce, a hoppin’ band out of Charlotte. There was a full moon that night and a magical night at that!
