This sweet little five month old had her photos taken on the beach at Wild Dunes with her parents recently. It was an overcast day and perfect for her porcelain skin and red hair. She is an absolute doll and a total heart breaker!

September 21, 2012This little cherub makes me smile from ear to ear. He has grown so much in the past year and when I saw him this time, he was his own little person happy to chat and walk down to the beach on his own. It’s amazing how much babies develop in their first year!
After getting some shots of him looking dapper, we let him do what babies love best- play in the water!

September 6, 2012It’s the end of summer….. sigh. I love doing family beach portraits for out of town guests staying on one of our beautiful beaches and I’m always a little sad when the season ends.
The Patton family had lots to celebrate while they were here over the Labor Day weekend. In addition to bouncing their son’s most adorable 8-month old and introducing him to the beach, they were also celebrating their daughter’s engagement that happened the day I came to take photos!It looks like many good things are ahead and I’m glad I was there to help photograph these memories.

August 9, 2012Any day I get to photograph a cutie pie like this on the beach is a good day. This precious little girl captured my heart back when she was nearly six months old and I photographed her in her pink room.

April 12, 2012I’ve always loved photographing children. But I tell you what, now that I have my own toddler, I love photographing kids even more. I get to re-live what it’s like to have a 9-month old, like this adorable little guy whose eyes just make you melt. I also see things differently being a parent myself. Images that I might have edited out before I find myself keeping. They may not be “perfect”, but they are emotionally powerful and transcend technicality. I keep them because they are shots that I’d want for my family too.

February 27, 2012I love this little guy! It’s been so fun to watch him grow and change as I photograph him every 3 months. He’s an active little guy. I expected him to lay on his back and he was rolling all over place. Go baby, go!
Four Months Old
February 16, 2012Well if this little bundle of love doesn’t make your heart melt, I don’t know what will. I absolutely love this little cutie-patootie and her design inspired nursery. Her mama does not make her living as an interior designer, but I think she should. Also, every child’s room should have a “poof”. They are awesome for photos!
