Awww… the toothless grin! I remember a year ago this time well as my “maternity leave” was winding down and I was going beck to shooting weddings. I definitely geared up and powered through it, but I get exhausted just thinking about it. I’m definitely one of those people who puts blinders on and trudges on through difficult situations and it is only when I am far removed do I allow myself to realize just how taxing it was. I suppose they call that “survival”!

I would always take some extra photos of you with my camera and the iPhone before I left for the day so that I could scroll through them and see your cherub face if I ever got any downtime. It’s a miracle anyone survives new parenthood!
